Hin Reykjavík – Armando’s journey

Armando Garcia Texeira was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, but has lived in Slovakia and Slovenia and is now doing a MA degree in International studies in education at the University of Iceland.

Armando talks to Laufey and Sanna about his journey, what brought him to Iceland, his experiences with racism and belonging in different societies over his years of traveling and studying. He also discusses the challenges faced by students from outside the EU and his articles for Stúdentablaðið.
