Rauður raunveruleiki – Yanis Varoufakis: The Red Reality of Global Capitalism

Tonight we have a very special guest. Yanis Varoufakis is an ex Greek minister of finance, an economist, and a politician. In February 2016 he launched the Democracy in Europe Movement 2025 (DiEM25) and he also took a great part in founding the Progressive International alongside many progressive politicians, economists, and activists. The Progressive International has been described as a „common blueprint for an International New Deal, a progressive New Bretton Woods“.

We talk to Yanis about the state and direction of our world, how we can influence things for the better and what we should be striving for.
